But whatever the reason, according to a study by the Commonwealth Fund out of New York, most men casually avoid going to the doctor for routine checkups and preventative care--and don't even seek timely help for medical emergencies.
Fewer than one man in five 18 or older, a survey said, say they seek immediate medical care when they are sick and/or in pain.
